STAGE 04: GAME ON GOES TO REV MAJOR!

It was literally impossible to capture everything that happened this past weekend at REV Major 2022. I realized this daunting task the moment I tapped on my first live video to document the event. The unreality and surreality of it existing at all hit me hard — it was back onsite and matches were being held in person after three long years. But yes there it was, the fighting game community, alive and well after, after fighting off (and still fighting!) a global unseen challenger. It was just as I remembered it… and yet, definitely much more. You could see it in the eyes of everyone (and in a now-normal, masked world, sometimes that was all you’d need.). From the organizers, the exhibitors, the sponsors, the special guests who flew from all parts of the globe, the rabid fans who cheered on every mindblowing move and combo they were witnessing, and of course, the players, pros and casuals and fans alike.
